just wondering why floyd never ever talks about that fight when we all seen it, and know it was one of his toughest fights

I'm aware of that you mong. But you know damn well Mayweather cruised in that fight and made Castillo look silly in most of it.

Cards aren't always right Freddy. Like Rios/Abril...:deal

    A) nowhere near 85% feel that he lost but nice try enforcing your OPINION with fake made up numbers masking as fact....common trend with freddywak posts I've noticesd.

    B) he was injured and proved his superiority in an immediate rematch when he was in better health.

    C) you might be partially right about him not wanting to bring the 1st Castillo fight to light by rarely mentioning it.

Not really, he fought castillo healthy the 2nd time and won even easier. So to floyd it was much to do about nothing. He knew he won the first fight, a number of people disagreed and he proved it in an instant rematch. That's what great champions do.:deal

I wonder when/if people will finally get over that fight.

Judges appear to do that in rematches after a controversial first fight. For instance, many people felt Johnson defeated Dawson in their first encounter, yet in the rematch, two out of three judges had Dawson winning by closer scores. I don't think anyone that saw that fight would say Johnson won more than two rounds. The rematch, that is.

But to answer this thread, I do find it odd. He doesn't mention Castillo much.

Floyd had a hurt shoulder...you can get the reports from the NSAC or boxrec. Go ahead and request them.

I've seen polls. Even a year ago when he was at his least popular and half the posters here were anti-Mayweather trolls, the polls are always around 50/50 with the slight majority thinking he won.

Maybe he doesn't want to bring up that performance because it would require him to keep bringing up his shoulder injury as an excuse?

It's all they can ever cling to.

His next "worst" performance that people can ***** about is when he was dominating, busting the face up of, and KO'ing the #3 WW in the first third of that fight.

Maybe I've missed something but I don't recall hearing JLC compliment Floyd for clearly beating him in the rematch.

I don't think Floyd has any disrespect for JLC. He probably just feels Augustus and Cotto have the most challenging styles to fight against.
