oh, i wasnt debating what history will write, thats a whole other debate. what our disscussion was about, was how many times has floyd fought the guy most people thought was the best in the division. the answer we both came up with is alvarez at 152lbs. although you admitted that alvarez wasnt even truly the best in the division. i dont think alvarez at 152 is the best in the jr middle division either, but ill concede him because saying floyd has never fought the top guy in a division just makes the ammount of nuthugging he gets embarrassing for everyone involved in the sport.

It's a theory and, whilst the intrigue of the 'to duck or not to duck' question might add a touch of spice, I don't think Mayweather plays on this with any strategic purpose. There are more salient factors to be concerned with in selecting and eventually selling an appropriate PPV opponent - not to mention the finer details of actually getting the fight signed.

Mayweather and his team are simply noncommittal in public, while there's either no particular opponent in mind or no concrete agreement in place, with a potential opponent in the works. Possibilities are aired, discussed, ruled out interchangeably, while the shape of the Boxing landscape continually adjusts and the reality of homing in on a suitable opponent occurs behinds the scenes. So, in the meantime, Mayweather publicly deflects proposed opponents in whatever way he can or glibly entertains this or that idea when faced with the questioning, to keep the media machine ticking over and guessing.

Ultimately, I don't think Mayweather cares too much if people view him as having avoided certain fighters or not, whoever he ends up matching. As long as he feels the eventually chosen route is an acceptable risk/reward venture - it's all good from his point of view.

The ****** continues to infest an already infested place with his abominable presence and mental disturbance. A fighter needs to be at 147.1 all the way to 154 to be considered a Junior Middleweight. Alvarez and his team agreed to the 152 limit, which remains within what a Junior Middleweight needs to be. No one forced him to accept it.

    Keep trying, pathetic loser.

Will Khan transform into a handpick once he accepts to fight him or will you consider that one opponent legitimate to serve your idiotic purpose on here?

It is what it is, Mayweather admitting on video that he hand picks his opponents.
Funny because there was an online poll at Mayweather promotion site for who should Mayweather fight between Maidana and Khan and Khan won the poll results but instead Mayweather fought a slow no foot work in Maidana.

You can talk all you want "if" Mayweather chooses khan, but he ducked him once.

And now Mayweather is on a record saying khan has Garcia and prescott problems.

When was the last time Mayweather fought a boxer with speed, good boxing skills with good foot work? Just look at Khans fighting style, he can give Mayweather problems.

Take a look at mayweathers last 4 opponents, they are slow with no foot work.

If everyone thought that, why was Mayweather the favorite?

Alvarez was +240 heading close to the fight, Alvarez looked weak @ 152 weigh in.

The guy can't read, but he can come up with something that elaborate...

That is a genius plan, I highly doubt he's doing it intentionally
