Does Floyd really want to be the best? I sure hope so.

    Do you really think tha Floyd is going to take the winner of Cotto-Mosley if either one of them wins in convincing fashion? Or do you think if the fight is close that he will let them get a rematch so they can beat themselves up a little more?

    What do you mean let them get a rematch? The better question is whether either one of them will fight Floyd if they win. Will Shane step up to the plate or will he get another toothache? Will Cotto acctept the challenge or will he just let his promoter make all the decisions for him?

    I have my doubts Mayweather and Cotto will fight provided they win their next fights.

    For one, Floyd and Arum don't have the best relationship. Floyd's gonna demand the lion's share of the purse, is Arum gonna agree to give him so much?

    Another thing is GBP. GBP makes no money off of Mayweather-Cotto. Oscar may want to fight Cotto on Cinco De Mayo. Oscar can say his wife won't let him fight a Boricua, but $30 million plus can easily have you change your mind. If you're in Cotto's camp, what do you pick? Mayweather for less money or Oscar for more $$$. Gee, that's a tough one. :roll:

    There's always the question about weight, though.

    I hope so, but I see him 39-0 after December 8th

    As far as Floyd wanting to be the best, I think he does, and I expect him to continue facing the best: Mosley/Cotto winner, Williams, maybe Cintron if he continues winning, Vernon Forrest, etc.

    He can't resist money and he can't resist adding onto his legacy with all of the great potential fights for him.

    Not right away, but if Vernon Forrest keeps winning and adds another belt at 154, I could see Floyd moving back up to face him. But Vernon would be a real tough matchup, so I don't really know.

    Those are some good points,but if Cotto does beat Mosley in a brutal way I doubt that DLH would want to fight him, then again MONEY can change everything,but I still think he would go for an easier fight with a big name.I think he would want to close his carrer with a sure win.

    After the mosley fight,cotto will be demaged mentally,he's gonna take a worse beating then trinidad,what is it about us brotha's humiliating these pr's,leonard vs benitez,hopkins vs trinidad and now mosley will end the cotto era.

    Not being racist,but u can take it how u want,truth hurt's.
