He will be, "Why fight him and look bad." Much like James Toney.

All fighters, at some point, won't be able to compete. The difference is that FMJ actually has defence. RJJ ONLY used reflexes as defense. FMJ will only get blasted out if he stays WAY too long.

Not trying to start a war here, but this is similar to the Ali/FMJ argument. Ali relied heavily on reflexes and a willingness to absorb insane amounts of punishment to win.

he won't fight until his speed goes, which is still a ways away. He'll fight manny and mabye onemore and thats it.

Floyd is the better boxer and Roy is the harder puncher P4P. I think they both rely on their physical gifts to win but Floyd can box a bit more. I say Floyd should retire after 3 or 4 more fights. Retire at 45-0 would be sweet.

Jones relied more on his physical gifts than Mayweather did. The erosion for Mayweather will be much slower than what it was for Jones, because the second Jones physical skill sets faded his technical flaws showed and it hurt him.

Jones was a better athlete than PBF possibly the best athlete to ever step foot in the ring. PBF has better fundamentals than RJJ.

I disagree. Athlectism does not make you a better fighter. You have to have the total package. speed, defense, offense, chin, heart IMO Jones is not on floyds level.

floyds atletisim enhances his boxing ability which is based in fundamental boxing, Roys boxing ability was based on His atletism

This. I don't have any reservations at saying Floyd has a ring IQ that far, far surpasses RJJ. Although I consider a prime RJJ much more athletically gifted. ...They asterisk'd "a-d-a-p-t-i-n-g"?

There's no comparison really and no, Floyd doesn't suffer from the same flaw.

Some of y'all vastly underrate RJJ's technical skills. There's no doubt Roy could be unorthodox, but he wasn't just 'out-athlete-ing' people in his prime.
