Myself personally I see this as a better choice because he gets an opportunity to win a 3rd title in his second weight class. Rigo can wait for the moment as I don't see him wanting to move up anytime soon, and if Frampton fails he might be able to move back down and perhaps Rigo and Frampton could fight for a vacant strap. I think it was a good move for Frampton to move up and try his luck at 126.
He should have fought Rigo, how often do you have a 2 time Olympics gold medalist in your division? Oh wait never, his LSC fight is always there since they are both with Haymon.
I think it was more a case of him struggling with the cut to 122 than any 'daring to be great' bull****, as usual.
Who used daring to be great as a point? It's a simple ****ing question, no need to throw in your nonsense on what you think this thread is about. Go take a bath you Dirty Alpaca.
I wasn't insinuating anything. It's just people seem to think whenever a fighter moves up it's some sort of bold move of great bravery, when the majority of the time it' s because they're sick of boiling themselves in a sauna for weeks. So no, while LSC would be a very good win for him, he won't get credit from me just for moving up. And he ducked Rigo HARD.
IDK. I think he's very capable of making 122 if he fails his first attempt at 126. Like you said, he is a small guy.
Yeah it seems a little surprising to me too, but he was saying how much he struggled for the Gonzalez fight. Might be an element of making excuses for a poor performance, but it does seem to be an issue, he ain't doing 14 week camps for nothing.
