If Froch is aloud by the referee to be rough and go to war - maybe Ward will fade out in the end of the fight......

"Other" = "andre" in danish - and if Andre do like the other Andre - Froch will be i big troubles.........

The referee can allwo Froch to be rough and go to war.. just know that Ward is sneaky ruff and nasty on the inside.. So Froch in his slow sloppyness can be rough all he wants, A skilled tough customer on the inside like Ward would take that fight all day long.. Trust.. Froch don't want that...:bart

Kessler has said that he thinks it will be an even fight, and if he really had to pick a winner it would be Froch.

He says that he was nowhere where he should have been against Ward and Ward fought in ways that are not really boxing. A healthy and ready Kessler would do quite differently if they meet again.. he said.

Personally, I agree that Kessler wasn't healthy, and that Ward did fight dirty etc., but I would still have Ward the favorite in a rematch.

Anyway - the topic is Froch...

So yeah.. interesting that Kessler thinks Froch will win.

I'm one of the few, and certainly one of the few non Brits that actually see Froch win.

It all depends on the referee I guess if it's a level playfield but if it is, I expect Carl to shock the world (maybe not shock, it's not like he's that big a underdog) and stop Ward.

He won't get a decision in the US without outclassing Ward (will never happen), so he HAS to stop him.

Very good chance. 50/50 fight for me.
Depends on who turns it into their type of fight.

I can respect your logic on Froch's chances.. but this isn't HBO Boxing after Dark, Paul Williams Vs Lara.. Truthfully this is a TOURNAMENT FINAL.. Very High Profile and will be watched by many.. Showtime, and the promoters involved know this so no funny business.. I would like people to throw out the nonsense on how Froch cannot get a fair fight i n the US, he is fought here before and is 2-0 that I know of.. so this he can't get a decision in the States is a **** Poor statement and just sets up the excuses for many if Ward Prevails in beating Froch... :deal

The fact that it's the final of the tournament makes the chance of a fair decision a little better, but the US isn't known for it's fair judging currently and certainly not if it comes to Ward.
Beïng 2-0 in the US doesn't say anything either because the fist time he stopped his opponent (took it out of the judges hands) and the second time he wasn't fighting an American :deal
If Ward clearly beats Froch there's no one (except a few Brits maybe) who will say Froch had been robbed, but in a close fight Froch will never get the decision in the US...

If you want to get inside and hold and stuff like that, it cant be stopped with boxing. That is why a grappler in nine times off ten defeats a boxer if there are no rules. Basicly Ward uses dirty tactics in the ring that is superior to boxing methods.

It's great you respect both fighters, and your comparation with Dirrell was interesting, but Ward IS a dirty fighter. He might be the dirtiest elite boxer in the sport today.

umm maybe.. in a Close fight I would like to be surprised.. of course I would like Ward to win.. but in the end its out of our hands and in the Judges hands, in a close fight who knows what their looking for? Ring Generalship, who landing the most meaningful shots, effective aggression? I could go on and on..

The United States is just like any other place besides Germany.. but some of the decisions lately remind me of Germany's Fixed fights.. Any ways anywhere there is a close fight and your in the opponents home country usually u have the cards stacked against you winning a close decision.. However It has been done, and with this fight being on the East Coast and not the West I feel like its about as Fair of a fight as you can get outside a neutral country.. So Froch has a chance.. all I know is if the fight is close, Froch better do more if he wants a decision win..

I made a poll out of it...

The US is worse as Germany on the moment if it comes to decisions in m opinion. Germany has the name, but in the last year the US really made a mess of things.

I'm not defending Germany in any way, because they suck bigtime if it comes to decisions, but the US realy takes the cake lately.

I agree with Kessler. What Ward does is not really boxing. People saying that "Froch will pay him back with his own medicine", fail to understand that Ward is specialised in cheating. He cant be beaten in his own game. That is why I believe Froch is ****ed, frankly.

You cannot make a poll about it in here.

That would be like going to Brasil and making a poll on the streets of Rio who will win the next World Cup in Soccer? 95% will say Brasil.

There are 50% American on ESB and 2% Germans. A poll will show nothing.

This is garbage.... Boxing is a contact sport.. Its a fight for Christ Sake.. Nothing dirty about Ward.. he does whatever the Ref allows.. its up to the Ref to control the fight.. Ward just make sure the Ref is on his job.. sometime they are and sometimes they are not..

Ward doesn't blatantly headbutt.. he take up real estate or a position that the other fighter has to beat him to, in order for that fighter to get off punches.. Sometime Head clashes result because of this.. You don't see Ward rabbit punching, and he has not been warned for hitting on the break either..

Ward just does things the other fighters don't think about doing until Ward puts it on them and by the time they realize they have been getting hit on the break, beat to certain spots, smothered from Ward Clinches (limiting their punch output) they are behind in the Speed Chess match in the ring.. Then it turns into the Ward Pot Shot, Get inside and do damage show.. Just re watch his fights and see.. No Dirty Fighting just good Ring I.Q....
