Does Fury/Rahman, Buckland on the April 16th Card Make it PPV Worthy?

    I think that's a pretty decent card. Hatton's done well to recover the bill.

    FULL CARD:

    Amir Khan v Paul McCloskey
    Tyson Fury v Hasim Rahman
    Gary Buckland v Rafael Hernandez
    Martin Murray v John Anderson Carvalho
    Rendall Munroe v Andrei Isaeu
    Craig Watson v Lee Purdy
    Jamie Kavanagh v TBA
    Richard Towers v TBA
    Tasif Khan v TBA

    Considering the Haye/Harrison PPV was appauling compared to this, I don't see how this isn't at least 5x better than that. What do you think? :think

    Fury-Rahman is the only intriguing bout on the whole card.

    khan, fury, buckland, monroe & watson are all fighters id like to watch at anytime so them all being on the same card makes it a worthwhile expense for me personally.

    Considering that Crolla/Rees and Macklin/Gevor had been initially announced, this whole card is still a let down in my opinion even though the Fury/Rahman fight has me fascinated. Ill probably just go to the pub to watch it and end up just seeing the top 2 fights instead of paying the £15 for the whole bill. I didn't buy the Haye/Harrison ppv either for similar reasons about the undercard

    Yes, its better than the Haye/Harrison undercard however it would be good for them to announce which fights are gonna be live on sky before I decide whether im gonna pay for it. If Munroe, Fury and Khan are live then ill buying it.

    hell naw.

    just because decent fighters are on a bill does not make it worth seeing. if they are in decent matchups, then yes, but hell naw at the mo.

    It's better than Haye Harrison I'll give you that. But it's still pretty bad considering who has pulled out. Fury has kinda saved it.

    How could Fury/Rahman make a card worth 15 quid? And Gary Buckland...barely even registers.

    If it wasn't worth 15 pounds before I don't see how these fights would suddenly seal the deal. Personally I don't think its worth that money, I wouldn't pay it myself. I think if you do you're basically saying to Sky that this is an acceptable standard.

    I think thats a tad unfair TFFP, in theory what you say makes sense but if you dont pay, what does that prove? Its not going to suddenly change the way Sky do they're business.

    i'll continue to pay then moan after the event. For the record, I dont think its ppv worthy.

    It would prove a great deal if more people had backbone. It's not as if there aren't alternate methods...:p

    So what PPV is up to your standard? Because I don't know who out of the Promoters in the UK could set up a decent card apart from Warren, and that would only be when he puts all his cards on the table!

    Considering PPV's in the U.S are what? $49.95?, we pay nothing for our Boxing.
