What are the odds? I for one have been sufficiently annoyed by Team Wilder(and his fans) allegations that I don't mind watching the big spaghetti dossier getting smashed again. And funnily enough that might have been the whole idea. There would be no demand for a trilogy without some controversy to sell the third fight.
Fury vs AJ happens first. I dont think Wilder Fury 3 even happens. Didnt Wilder's team let the rematch contract expire without making any effort to arrange the 3rd fight? They may try and go legal, but I dont think they will successful.
Yeah, Wilder vs Fury 3 will happen before Fury and Joshua, because Joshua is never gonna sign that contract.
The wbc president will be getting involved pretty soon. Fury's treacherous ways cannot go unpunished. Well done bomb squad.
Hopefully not. We all know Fury is the better fighter, but it would be just typical if it happened and then Wilder gets a lucky KO win.
Calling for the third fight before the deadline passed for it being made might have helped a tad. But hell, if things go to plan, Wilder might get a nice cheque for not having to step into the ring with his nemesis and he can slate a comeback fight while claiming Fury ducked him. Wilder vs Fury 3 won't happen next because neither fighter wants it to....
Fury wilder 3 might happen Rematch contract. You could argue that covid has created exceptional circumstances for the fight not to happen. The counter arguement would be that plenty of other fights have happened behind closed doors. There could be a further argument made that they can't pay the contractual wage bill without an audience so I guess that will just have to be argued in court. Neither of them really want the fight. Wilder because he might get spanked and end his career. Fury because maybe a breazeale type bomb sneaks through. Least saying the fight can't happen allows both to say they ducked the other and move on with their career. I doubt fury / aj will happen in the usa/uk till full crowds are allowed back. If that's a really long way away I suspect it would be in Saudi. Mega fights don't come along very often and you have to make the most from the opportunity. The cynic in me suggests this will be a staged 3 fight deal.
Hopefully not. Not a fight anyone needs, especially Wilder. Depending on what he has left, I think he still looms as the favorite or at least a legitimate threat to anyone else in the division. Fury III is the worst fight he could make against anyone in the top 10, but of course it also would pay a ton.
