does Garcia have good power or is khan just china chinned?

Khan has one of the worst Glass Jaws in the sport today. This has been known for years now.

 

Garcia isn't a huge puncher but he caught Khan perfectly. Maidana is a much harder puncher but he never caught Khan that cleanly.

In boxing, those type of shots happen and sometimes you never get hit cleanly in a fight.

Khan made the mistake of being too aggressive. I think his fight vs Maidana was his best performance and if he would have fought like that, he would have beaten Garcia.

I totally agree that part of the reason he can act like such a ***** is because of the way he's been built up,but it's not like he's known for a glass heart,so a bit of humility now would go a long,long way towards rebuiding his reputation.
And I can rememeber when he was quite an admirable young man who was seen as an excellent role model.For me it was just before Prescott when he started going bad ****.He had such a good attitude at one point,and his conduct in the wake of 7/7 was outstanding.He condemned the bombers and was seen as the person who could stem the ill feeling both pro and anti Islam.
Part of the reason he got on my tits was because he was quite a cool guy before,and the change left a really bad taste,but how many of us wouldn't have acted similarly at a young age under the same circumstances?
I still stand by my feelings of worry that hye could end up badly hurt though.His chin is just not made for dealing with hard blows,and that's a tough hurdle in top level boxing.

Both Garcia has underrated power but Khan's chin doesn't think so.

 

Garcia has good power. Not up there with the Maidana's, Bailey's and Matthysse's but just a step below. Definetly good to very good for the weight. Along the lines of Judah/Alvarado
