Cotto is the next best thing to Pac, Canelo isn't ready...This seems like a golden opportunity for the boys at GBP. Can they get Cotto to jump ship for his biggest payday? Why wouldn't they want to? Is Cotto Loyal?
Cotto is already floating in the Free Agent pool. But his only logical choice would be to go to Golden Boy at this point, they work with the smaller promoters, where as Bob can't really get along with anyone. But they offer him more big fights than Bob does at this stage. For 147-154: Mayweather Alvarez Khan(@ 147) Ortiz Plus being willing to make deals with other promoters means he has more possible big fights than Pacquiao II Margarito III and uh, Mike Jones? Tim Bradley? Lamont Peterson? Not exactly a list of big names or even having a hand in any PPVs worth mentioning.

Cotto has the Pac fight on TR's side if a Mayweather fight doesn't come about. TR can also give him Chavez Jr for a 4th division title compared to Canelo. Both equal or better in significance and money. He wants to freelance his services on a fight by fight basis and let the promoters do the bidding for them, he'd be stupid not to. He's a big enough star to do it. Signing with GBP there's a good chance they look to undercut him with total control.
Sorry, but Maywearther/Cotto blows Pac/Cotto II out of the water for money. Chavez JR.? He isn't PPV material, besides, he is alot younger than Cotto. They won't give him to Cotto.
i think if cotto had to choose between the 2, i think he would choose the pac fight. fighters that have fought pac seemed to have gotten paid better.
seems like I was onto something....seemed like a no-brainer....Mayweather goes after Cotto, will likely get him. 1. Noone wants to see Pac/Cotto II 2. More Money 3. weight issue
