The fact that Golovkin had no choice but to fight on the back foot against Canelo in the second fight (I thought he won but make no mistake he had no choice but to fight that way), means his clock was ticking then. Then getting beat up to the body by Derev... Canelo is gonna batter him this time, don't think he'll stop him, but he'll batter him.

And this is coming from someone who thought Golovkin won both fights

An interesting way of looking at things for sure.

I just think GGG at a higher weight is going to be even slower than before.. but see how it plays out.

He was happy to box. Same way he was happy to box vs Murata & Lujuan Simon and whoever else. But yes, at this point his pressure wont be the same. All well schooled fighters fall back onto their boxing eventually, it’s how you stretch out a career. Doesn’t mean he can’t beat Canelo. Just a different style.

He has pretty good defense, thats why he should be undefeated at this time, if not without corruption. Canelo even said GGG is very difficult to hit.

We know that, but Canelo fans will never admit it.

Imagine if GGG is able to somehow turn back the clock to even just four years ago and can summon that decrepit shot ghost of his former self from back then who put on one of the greatest jab clinics of all time when he thoroughly whooped Ginger's ass for the second time?

Experienced boxers can fight frontwards and backwards. They adjust as needed. Thats what GGG did in the 2nd fight. That's the problem with the Mexican style stereotype they were placing on themselves. Some people thought because he took a step back and boxed with power, that he didn't win the 2nd fight. I'm sure that has something to do with why it's not mentioned as much. That being said, GGG can out box you and take you out in devastating fashion.

But what will GGG do this time? Will he BOX and JAB or FIGHT?

That's actually not far off regarding the meat and hairline

The meat and hairline, hmmm, sounds like a modern colloquialism. Imagine two dudes working out a business deal:

"Well Mr. Johnson, let's get down to the meat and hairline of the matter!"

Ok that was just silly, I admit it.

He will do whatever it takes to win the fight. He won't bribe the judges so he is at a disadvantage in that regard. I think we can expect some surprises from GGG. He said he may not need to wear a sauna suite this time. This should be a very interesting fight. To answer the question i think he will do all the above. I think GGG will suprise Canelo with some shots he don't expect. I expect some body work, a great jab. I expect counters of some of Canelo's shots, and i expect GGG to go for broke more if he stuns Canelo.

I don't believe the KO for this fight. You have two great fighters who never got knockdown and the decision is the likely outcome. I favor Canelo.

But bidding on the KO for GGG is more fun :)
