I gave it to Lara as well, but not by as much as most, 7-5 or 8-4 depends on the mood I'm in when I watched it.

    Obviously so.

Thread should be "Who has the second worst resume in boxrec top 20?"

Or further clarify whatever the thread starter was trying to say when he said something about "challenging fights" or whatever, which I took to mean "best opponents faced," which would mean losing to them or performing poorly isn't relevant.

Either way you look at it Brook is in last among those fighters listed (no shame in that, really, as he is a victim of horrible boxrec rankings to even be listed among those other quality fighters).

of course there's shame, instead of fighting gavin after his mando which was an absolute joke of an opponent he could have fought someone that's not a complete fking bum.

Well yeah but I am saying that he should not be held in the same regard as most of the other 19 fighters listed in the first place.

If he was listed among the guys boxrec ranks 30-50 (I haven't checked, just saying), then his short list of notable opponents might end up looking surprisingly decent.

Surely we should take into account how many of these 'names' on a fighters resumes are actually wins. For example maidana has an impressive resume, with names like broner khan mayweather Alexander etc. but he's only won one of those fights! Golovkin, whilst only fighting B level fighters at best, has looked spectacular in dispatching of them, so for me ranks higher in terms of actual wins then Maidana....

How do you rate Brooks resume below Porter who he beat clear as day? That trumps anything Porters done, including a very controversial win over Julio Diaz.

Because one win doesn't mean **** when you have 1000 other bums on your resume. Alexander, Paulie, Broner, Diaz > one win over Porter.

Wins over shot to **** Paulie and Broner aren't really any better than the B level wins Brook has. Alexander is his best win, and he arguably lost to Diaz. I think your agenda is pretty clear tho

Savage KO's and winning by Quittage will do that. Making guys outright Quit is better than a KO. What fighters have more Quittage victories than GGG? :think

Shot to **** Paulie? Paulie utterly schooled Zab, and tons of people picked him to beat Broner. Paulie wasn't in his prime in no means, but he wasn't shot either. I had Broner beating Paulie, but to some people he was on a 3 win streak against Senchenko/Broner/Zab. He wasn't completely shot till Porter put him into retirement for over a year.
Porter's resume is better than Brook's.
