Let me start by saying I'm a huge GGG fan.

I can also say I get negotiating the best deal for your fighter. But does K2 seriously think getting 40% of the pie is a realistic target.

It's ridiculous. Unless he can draw 250K + PPV numbers V Jacobs then it's not possible.

I would take the 15 mil. I have a feeling Golden Boy will come back with a 20 mil take it or leave it and if it's still not signed then shame on Team GGG.

Can't be saying your the most avoided fighter in boxing whilst turning down life changing sums of money. If u feel short changed...Harness that feeling and put a bigger beatdown on the opponent in the ring.

    Rant over.

BBB side thinks he's worth more than he is. Why this is even being debated is beyond me. I don't care how many lower tier boxers you run thru. Cinnamon is the A side and to be quite honest he's "earned"

They're taking a gamble to see how his PPV against Jacobs does, they're probably confident it will do well and then use it as leverage in negotiations.

Quite right too. The unified middleweight champ doesn't need to be dictated to by a mere contender who has never even fought a full middleweight contest. Team Canelo know the days of boiling down to 154 then coming in at 175-180 are coming to an end, he isn't making 154 or even 155 for much longer. If he wants a middleweight title shot without actually earning it then he can pay up. The alternative is to fight BJS for a paper belt that nobody would take seriously or use the mooted Chavez jnr fight as a stepping stone to full 168.

    Yep,

Red is in a tricky spot. Chavez Jr. is not the answer

What you hyperbole driven, always set to 11, posters don't seem to realize is, against who can Canelo fight and make the same amount he'd likely get in the 3G fight? His two best selling fights included: Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather. Two highly established and popular fighters.

He did reportedly 300K with Smith. Approx 600K with Khan, another popular fighter.

If you are honest, you'll realize there isn't anyone, other than 3G, that will give Canelo the partner that will help sell big. That is what some of you simpletons don't get.

Is it common to release to the public offers made to only one of the opponents ten months before the possible fight?
I'm not saying it's a bad offer cause it's not but with GGG facing Jacobs in March Oscar knows this and could cite any figure he wants knowing K2 aren't gonna deal until after this fight, why are they telling us what Canelo gets?

Well, you see. Because Ward and Kov agreed to fight after a couple of bouts, the forum idiots now think that's standard operating procedure.

Or, maybe after watching the Floyd Manny fiasco it would be nice to see fighters go to war in the ring instead of the negotiation table..

I don't see why GGG's team would bother negotiating reasonably with anyone to be honest. They already gathered a mentally slow fan base that will tune-in regardless of opposition(hence the nonstop lining up of bums and hopeless opponents for Golovkin to feast on), so why take risks?.

Loeffler has a reputation in boxing as being fair and easy to negotiate with idiot.
