Does Giovanni Lorenzo have a shot to beat A. Abraham???

aa should take him out...marquez was connecting all night. if aa has those same openings it could get ugly

 

I kind of like this fight for arthur. When I look back at his opponents, I don't think he has fought someone that has the speed of Lorenzo. Lorenzo has some decent pop as well. He was exchanging with Marquez but I highly doubt he comes in with the same game plan he did against Marquez. 12 rounds is a long time, arthur wears him down to the body then goes head hunting, somewhat similar to Oral, Lorenzo probably will be harder to catch. Arthur KO lorenzo rounds 8-10.

 

I've said it before, Lorenzo was simply 'out toughed' by Marquez. I don't think this bodes well for a fight with Abraham at all.

 

No way...Lorenzo really lacks toughness and Abraham won a fight with a broken jaw...Thats says it all...

 

I don't think he has much of a shot at all.
His big punch is the right straight. He doesn't throw it fast, but he does through it hard. Where's it going? It's getting absorbed by AA's high guard whenever it's thrown.

All AA has to do is time that punch, as soon as it's thrown AA counters with a left hook.
Lorenzo KOd D.Miranda with that right straight. Right before he threw it, Miranda connected with his own on Lorenzo. D.Miranda's power is overrated.... but Abraham's isn't.

 

Zero chance. Lorenzo's only redeeming qualities are his size and his power, and Abraham has a beard.

 

Would be his best opponent in a while, but no real shot, no.

 

It would be a good opponent choice for Abraham if he's not going to fight a Pavlik or Sturm at Middle or a Dirrell, Ward, Froch, Bute at Supermiddle.

An impressive KO/TKO over Lorenzo is better than his more recent opposition.

HBO will only come up with $2 mill total for Pavlik/Sturm. Reports are Abraham wanted $1.5 and to keep the German TV money. Not sure ticket sales are going to make up that kind of difference.

 

AA wins easy. Lorenzo has no shot Abraham will easily dispose of him. Abraham is just too good, great offense, great defense, he has the toughness. Abraham should fight Pavlik or move up to 168 where there is a lot more of a challenge.

 

How many of your posts are about purse negotiations for Pavlik fights, Abraham fights, and prospective/proposed Pavlik-Abraham fights, Hermit? 34%? 63?
