Why did he cut weight at heavyweight? Was it just to be in the best cardiovascular condition possible to be ready to fight for 15 rounds? I’ve heard of heavyweights from decades past cutting weight but I’ve never completely understood the reason why. I remember reading that Jim Jeffries even cut water and purposefully dehydrated himself before fights, which makes no sense to me at all when you can come in at whatever weight you want.
The post is goofy. Dude tryna race bait but also showing how stupid it is. Its clearly a joke. Certain posters behaviors/actions/posts only follow particular patterns...i.e., only support black/white/euro/asian fighters. THAT is genuinely pathetic.
So he could fight 15 rounds and throw high amount of punches. He loved putting together a high work rate. Marciano today would be a solid 200-205 pound guy. I don't think he would be 210.
I've only ever seen Marciano once against Jersey Joe Walcott which I have on tape somewhere. In that fight if I remember rightly rocky rendered him unconscious with suzy q. Marciano for me.
If Golovkin punched harder than Marciano there would be a funeral after his every fight. Can you imagine SuzyQ power in a middleweight. Even Canelo's cement chin would have a chunk missing.
