I'm not sure if Golovkin stops him, I know Golovkin is a beast but Ishida is durable as hell, bodyshots might be the key but i think Ishida at least survives til the championship rounds, but im gonna go out on a limb and say he survives the distance anyone else think he does?

You can get great odds on Ishida lasting the distance.

Ishida does not have the power to keep GGG off of him. That's a recipe for getting KTFO.

LOL.. don't let IB see this thread or he may ban you. He thinks so little of Ishida that even entertaining this thought it blasphemy to him.

The chinaman (I know he's japanese) seems to have a very sturdy
beard. I think he stretches GGG all 12 rounds.

Damn this is like predicting a Tyson fight, it just feels like the question is not if Golovkin wins but how fast

I actually think this goes past 6 and i think Ishidas quick hands and possibly straighter punches have a real chances to beat Golovkin to the target and maybe damage the eye again

I think he will present as much of a challenge as Rosado

Also, dude, Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

would be pretty hilarious if Ishida somehow managed to do a "Kirkland" on GGG in the first round.

He can take a punch and hes smart, for example against Pirog he threw some wild punches but it was kinda punches that wasted time and set Pirog out of rhythm, there was really no chance of them landing clean, i expect him to throw quite alot against Golovkin just to have him dodging it and getting off balance
Ishida is no slouch he knows his way around the ring, just his offense is basic

I have no idea. He might land enough bombs to force the corner to stop it but I don't see him actually dropping Ishida.
