Does Gonzalez being added to the GGG- Lemieux card make it a buy for you?

To me it is a yes. Gonzalez (to non casual boxing fans) represents arguably the #1 P4P fighter in boxing. Provided his opponent is not a terrible one, this card is PPV worthy. It's no $80 card, but if you're hosting a boxing party and it was $50- $60... you'll get some value for your dollar.

What I would add, is that if you are having some casual fans over, they might actually get into these fights, as compared to some other boring PPV fights (Pac- Mosley, Guerrero-Floyd, Floyd-Pac)

Oh my gosh, absolutely. Gonzalez is a top p4p fighter. He could be headlining himself. Then if they get the Ortiz/Jennings Heavyweight fight...geez. It's a great, great card. And all for under 50$?

Depends on who Chocolatito is fighting.

If he's fighting some can, then hell no.

I probably would of bought it anyway( i bought Jones jr. vs Lacy for christ sake) but adding Gonzalez makes it a lot better if the opponents decent.

Yeah, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that it will be an acceptable opponent. He doesn't strike me as a guy who would do that when he is co-headlining a PPV.

I voted NO. Because it was already a BUY for me.

Actually, yeah, I'll buy it. Even if just on principle to show the networks that people support the idea of lower weight divisions getting play on big shows.

If he's fighting Estrada again, then they can cancel the main event and it's a buy.

Gonzalez vs. Estrada II would legit deserve to headline over Golovkin vs. Lemieux, and in fact it would be criminal for it not to.

If you're one of those fans that hates top-heavy cards with bad lead in fights, it's time to prove Arum and company's views on undercarriage being worthless wrong. Support this one (provided it fills out according to plans) if you want to see more structured like it.

Already a buy for me if it were around $50 or lower. I've been able to make boxing fans out of strangers from GGG fights and Gonzalez fights by themselves. It will be easy for me to fill a room of friends with these guys. Casual fans won't care if there are cans in there with them. They just wanna see action.

Precisely. I would have bought it for $50 just for GGG-Lemieux. Gonzalez is just an amazing bonus.
