He's still far too open when throwing them. He'd be better throwing just 2-3 at a time rather than 5+. His hand speed is so high that he'd be able to react after those 2-3, if he hurt his opponent.
He has fast hands. But that alone will only get you so far. Hence his lack of success. Valdez and Frampton are fast punchers too, and they have many other qualities too. Hence their success.
