does groves deserve a rematch any more than kenny Anderson did?

I agree to a point but my worry is then if the rematch is close then are we gonna demand a 3rd and get it by calling the fighter a ***** if he don't take it and if the 3rds close then are we gonna demand a 4th?.

If they are at top of the sport yes i understand it but not 14 fight fighters IMO. They wanna progress onwards and upwards so as much as i'd like to of seen a rematch i understand Groves moving on to other fights..

Anderson didn't even protest. He was ****ed and he knew it.

He did put hands up and go to ref why as he walked him back to corner TBF (a few seconds after the stoppage). He was on last legs IMO but was still defending himself enough to be given a little longer but in the end i think Groves was going to finish the job.

Just watched it, Groves landed about 11 punches with Anderson sat on the ropes completely unable to return fire. It was a perfectly good stoppage. Impossible to see how anyone can honestly think it was anything but. He had nothing left in the tank and the ref saved him from further punishment.

Will have to re-watch it back after work. I remember a body assault and some shots getting to head and some hitting arms.

Wouldn't say every shot was clean, but Anderson was offering absolutely nothing in return. I really can't see the issue with the stoppage myself.

If you cannot see the massive difference between the two stoppages, you are an absolute cretin.

I get you. I wouldn't and didn't at the time complain about stoppage. Anderson knew he didn't have a full tank going in so he knew he was finished by then. But he's a fighting man so he wouldn't of wanted to be stopped but deep down he knew..

How about forgetting the reason's why but isnt it more going back on your word?

Anderson as I understand it took the fight at short notice and is the main reason for wanting a re-match, Groves agreed then when offered something better stitched Anderson up, in fact didn't he do it twice?

Anyway he mucked Anderson about after agreeing a re-match so he is just as bad, if not worse as he put Kenny through 2 training camps.
