Does Hagler deserve credit for the Hearns KO?

    And Leonard KTFO Hearns, but the best Hearns could manage against Leonard was a draw..

    Hearns was stopped 5x in his career, Leonard only once when he was already in his 40's..

    Clearly Leonard was better, and more durable..

    hearns chin was abysmal i agree, but in my opinion i think hearns poses stylistic problems for so many fighters h2h. he's better than ray leonard, he outboxed ray leonard, he was up on all score cards against ray leonard before the stoppage.

    Doesn't matter who outboxed who, bottom line Ray won and Knocked him out..

    Who would you have rather been at THE END of that 1981 fight Ray or Tommy??

    Its not how you start its how you finish, what counts..

    In that 14th round Hearns couldn't even barely stand on his own 2 feet..



    I rest my case.

    You keep saying "outboxed"-- what do you mean, exactly and how does it support your claim that he had better defensive skills than Ray Leonard? Also, you seem to have missed my comment about how Hearns had some fundamental defensive flaws that led to his getting knocked down and out on multiple occasions.
