    what hatton brings to the table is not just physical attributes but mental toughness not found in all boxers.

    both he and pac exhibit this trait. relentless, ferocious and does not want to lose. given this, it will be a match up of wits and skills and i dont see any overwhelming favorite here.

    what i don't see though here is someone doing a slick run and gun game ala mayweather. these fighters will fight toe to toe just like the pac-EM I and II.

    Hatton will resort to old tricks?He didn`t against Malignaggi and what if Paquiao builds a points lead early in the fight,starts to trade punches and gets that ko feeling coming on for him later on?THEN it could well be Hattons fight,a ko for Hatton.I seriously think as this fight nears Ricky will win,Pacquiaos not Mayweather,is smaller and hasn`t got his defence qualities.

    Hatton is a beast at 140lbs... Sure his performance with Lozcano isn't magnificent but still relatively decent. He has the power and goes forward like a raging bull. Take out his fight with PBF and you got zero loss for the hitman..

    Though I must admit Hatton is not perfect just like pac, There's one achilles heel in his armory!

    His name is PAC!

    :lol::good:hi:

    Pac will beat him no matter who is in his corner!

    Hatton has a good chance. Hatton has very good footwork and cuts down the ring superbly.

    He also has very good power.

    if you really believe hatton doesn't even have a slim chance you haven't been watching boxing very long. you only have to look at the margo mosely fight last weekend to see there's no such thing as a guaranteed win in boxing. mosely was a big underdog at 7/2, hatton against pac is only 7/4. hatton against koysta was about 3/1 if i remember correct. considering there's only 2 participants boxing throws up more than it's fair share of upsets, and i can see this fight being one of them.

    although i wouldn't call it an upset if hatton won, i think the odds are flattering to pac, off of the unexpected win over a dead on his feet oscar. this is a fight that could go either way.

    I think this fight is close. I cant see how anyone can be 100% confident of the outcome given that;

    a) Pac is awesome; but
    b) He hasnt fought anyone that has punched back above 128lbs.

    All boxers punch back, moron. It is because Pac's is relentless fighter who wears his opponents down w/ volume of punches which made appear of not fighting back. He's such an offensive fighter that negates all the offense and defense of his opponents.

    That's bollocks, Pacquiao has no chance of winning the Australian Open. Any of Nadal, Djokavic or Murray would destroy him easily.

    Not in the mood to trade insults so wind your neck in.

    My point is that Hatton is also a high intensity come forward boxer. He will not wait for gaps as ODLH did. Nor will he stand in the centre of the ring a la Diaz.

    Muppet.
