And Im saying in general it doesnt make a difference. Technique and weight gives you power. Guys with big calves can hit, guys with small calves can hit and vice versa
punching power comes from the force your legs generate up to your fist so it would make sense having big powerful calves improves it.
People misunderstand the old adage "power comes from the legs" What that means is that you torque your body from your toes up to gain maximum leverage. It doesnt mean squatting 500lbs will actually add power to your punches. Traditionally boxers had skinny legs from long jogging and skipping with very little weight training and explosive work. Things are chamging bit by bit on that front
