Does Haye deserve a shot at Vitali if....

    Haye wouldn't be making any where near 10m if he were to fight Vitali after losing to Wlad.

    Let's think about Dave's personality, do you really think once Wlad beats him up, he is going to fight on?

    No chance. He's going to be a laughing stock amongst all the casual Brit fans who bought into his loudmouth.

    He will retire and we won't hear from him again.

    The question is, will he accept his loss, act humble and praise Wlad?

    He will be eating humble pie, that's all that will happen after Wlad knocks him out.

    How much did he get for Audley?
    IMO this fights sells well if he makes a fair showing of himself vs Wlad.

    2. If he looses after all that talk it gets crushed into many little pieces
    3. If this happens Haye will disappear from public view.

    Did Vitali have to do that before getting his shot at Sam Peter's title?

    Nope.

    Haye's already rated as the third best heavyweight in the world. What would fighting someone else first prove?

    No, I don't think he'd deserve an immediate crack at Vitali if he loses to Wlad unless it's pretty close.

    Vitali didn't lose his title in the ring, he gave it up voluntarily. There's a difference.

    Wlad is to big, too technical and too powerful. Beats Haye soundly within 8 rnds.

    Vitali is more of a pressure fighter and is also powerful. I don't see how Haye can stay away for 12 rounds without being beaten into submission. Also, Vitali has a granite chin, so Haye's only chance at winning (a punchers chance) is negated.

    Will he deserve a shot at Vitali if he loses? No. He doesn't deserve a shot at Wlad right now, how will that position be improved if he has another loss?

    People talk about Haye eating humble pie and leaving the sport in disgrace. This AINT gonna happen.

    Even if he is stopped inside a round, he'll pull a Solis and make excuses, and immediately go after Vitali.
    As for the fans buying into it, most of us already want to see him in this fight, and a solid beating by Wlad most likely will not change our minds. That is unless he is seriously hurt.:scaredas:
