Does Haye deserve a shot at Vitali if....

Won't happen though. I think Haye at his best will lose even to Vitali at his worst, much like Lewis & Vitali. Before you Haye fans jump all over me. This is just my personal thoughts.

You don't see Wlad by KO even as possible.. Isn't that a bit irrational?
If you count out Iggy fight he has always gone for knockout, regardless of being ahead on points. And with the rate that he operates I don't think that David is similarly dangerous as the fight goes on.
Haye needs major improvements to stamina and defense to be fresh enough to pull similar punch combination as against Valuev in the twelfth.
Yes, Wlad is safety first fighter but those late knockouts don't happen by chance or accident.

In Ruslan fight he was seemingly upset for few minutes after Chag's corner stopped the fight. How often you see that happening in hw championship fight against undefeated champion?

In my opinion Wlad is most dangerous in the rounds 1-2 (he started aggressively in his last three fights but after initial attack switched to breakdown mode) and 9-12. Haye is at his best on 3-8, after timing/measuring his opponents for first couple rounds.

I'm not questioning Haye's heart but him going to survival mode on the last third and just trying to not get knocked out is plausible, which might lead to that Wlad by UD scenario.

Many say that Wlad has never faced Haye's kind of opponent, which might be true but the absolute fact is that Haye has no whatsoever experience of a fighter like Wlad. He's at least two classes above from his previous opponents as a heavy (and maybe as a cruiser too).

 

Maybe I worded my post wrong. Obviously there is a chance that Wlad knocks Haye out, and his fans see that as the only result. What I'm saying is that the likeliest result for either fighter is either Haye by KO or Wlad on points. My reasoning is that Haye's style is not point-friendly and he would have to knock Wlad down several times to get any decision, if at all. Wlad is a zero-risk fighter, probably the most cautious No 1 HW in my lifetime. His style is completely dependent on grinding opponents down before knocking them out and I cannot see Haye standing in front of Wlad at all. He will be on his bike and I think Haye would rather take a points loss than a 'valiant' KO loss while going for a knockout. Wlad will take no risk at all, despite what he says about dragging the fight out to knock Haye out in the 12th, simply because he doesn't need to, and his recent history shows that he will ultimately play it safe regardless of all the **** talk. It's a fascinating match-up either way, but like I said earlier it will come down to whoever can impose their gameplan on the other fighter. It will also probably be boring as **** tbh.

Will the trash talking work a second time, or will the public see through it?

After Adamek there aren't that many attractive options for either.
