Yeah, most people don't even know who David Haye is - let's be honest.

All I have been hearing is.....

''How is that little big mouth gonna beat him?''

    or

''He (Valuev) is gonna kill him''

Unless Haye is fighting a Klitschko, a domestic rival (if there were any) or even Holyfield there wouldn't be any interest. Nobody has heard of Chambers, Povetkin and so on.

  3. There's no great personalities in the Heavyweight Division that can propel Hay to the Hatton levels of stardom I don't think.

Let's not forget though, if he wins on Saturday, he IS a Heavyweight Champion of the World, and beating both Kiltschko's afterwards (however unlikely it is) would make him a Worldwide name.

If he beat one, the 2nd Klitschko fight could be approaching Hatton PPV buyrates, but would still fall short I reckon.

If we're talking waistline, Hatton has the potential to become bigger than Haye.

If he "slays" the giant so to speak, e.g knocks him out in style.
I think a lot of casal fans(ufc fanboys etc) will suddenly find him exicting to watch and this could potentially give him a much bigger fanbase.
I mean mike tyson prime example..although the division had more characters in it in the mid 90's he was huge because of his devastating power.
Im not comparing them by any means but if haye can bring his power up with him and knck out valuev then ruiz..his name will be huge!

Haye won't be as big as Hatton but if he finishes off Valuev in good style and then take on the Klit sisters he will be in a position to earn a very decent rub indeed

as for money wise i dont think he will ever earn what hatton was getting for his fights to wards the last few years.however he could do well on PPV,better than khan i think ,but ggain not as well as hatton ./Hatton has the "im just an ordinary blok, one of the lads" routine down ot a T and he is pretty convincing .and that puts bums on seats, sellls dvd's etc ...and haye aint like that
