Haye will likely to pull same trick that worked for Valuev when he ducked Chagaev. Basically, the doctors will say: "sure, we will let you fight but you need to be immunized as a precaution". However, nobody can force Haye to get the shots. He will make up a reason not to get the shots. The fight will be canceled and Haye will fight Holyfield instead.
Universum has #1 and #2, Chagaev and Boystov. If Boystov is ready to fight Haye I see them paying Chag to step aside. However, Chagaev is the higher rater guy of the 2 so perhaps Universum will push for Haye-Chagaev. Hard to imagine Haye not fighting one of these guys and retaining the belt, but who knows this is the WBA. Maybe they will figure out a way to make Mormeck of Guillermo Jones Haye's mandatory.
The WBA ratings aren't as bad anymore as they have been for the last 10 years or so. If Haye would take the "Hepatitis way out", he probably has to fight hardhitting Boytsov or strong and dangerous Ustinov. The walls are starting to close in on Haye now, and maybe he even thinks; "if I go out, I go out big and with a big payday" and may finally fight a Klit. I know, I might be kidding myself, but what else is there left for a fan of HW boxing?!
The WBA might want Haye to face Chagaev next and mandate the fight..... but he won't get a licence to box in the UK.
Chageva had a split decision win over Ruiz. Chageva is no better than Ruiz who Haye beat with a troubled prep due to the cut. Chageva would be a similar threat to Haye as Ruiz, he is also showing signs of getting porky and has not fought much. Hopefully he will step it up now he is not fighting just once a year. If he gets focus could be a good fight. At present as a threat I think you are over rating him.
I suspect we may see some shady WBA style dealings. Don King will have control of Valuev again, who will become the new mandatory. (Chag will be shafted) Haye will rematch Valuev, and this time Valuev will win the split decision in one of the worst fights of the year. This will then make way for the thrilling third installment in a classic trilogy.
:rofl Chagaev schooled Ruiz who was in good shape back then and a top5 HW and not comparable to the seemingly dead version Haye fought about 4 years later. Ruiz won three rounds including the opening two and the SD was WBA+Don King style utter dog****. Same with the Valuev fight. Chagaev won all rounds and went away with a MD laughable
