no, not the ear-biting, illiterate ******, but the FIGHTER.

the fighting style, do we need another Swarmer who get's all these devastating KO's?

remember when they said seth mitchell was the next tyson?

there'll never be another tyson, frazier, foreman, ali, etc. can't people accept this? there's all this searching for a 'new' tyson.

same when they searched for a 'new' muhammad ali (larry holmes, the great champion was right there though).

the next american champion will be a new type of fighter imo. i think it's deontay wilder.

Some one like him or better, to bring the heavy weight division back to life. When Tyson was fighting the heavy weights was the division to watch. Sure there were other fighters in the lower classes, but the heavy weights were the top dog. Today the heavy weight division have no one to put the spot light back on it. The Klits Bros are dominating in boring fashion and the division need a fighter or fighters that can be the main attraction. I really don't think them not being American have anything to do with it. Pac is not American and still have a large fan base in America because of his style of fighting. So the answer to the question is yes the Heavy Weight Division needs another great character that can grab the attention of boxing fans and say watch me i'm that dude you don't want to miss.

It's not wilder. An old washed up and shot tua would probably spark Deontay were they to fight tomorrow. The best we have now is Chris A have to except that.

Boxing (esp American boxing fans) needs a new Iron Mike Tyson - hopefully one that is fully sober & not overly obsessed with romance issues.

    Tyson was ****,

Face it, American boxing was overrated

    Ali s a cruiser weight

The rest would get sparked by Lennox and vitali

Americans just can't handle big men

Ear-biting, trash-talking rapists are given more media attention these days than men of strong character.

It wasn't like that a few decades ago. Honorable men like Marciano and Patterson were well-respected in their day, thugs like Liston were not.

Why is this forum full of two year olds?

Biting Holyfields ear was the wisest thing Tyson ever could have done. Does boxing need more intelligent people?

Convicted or not it's highly debatable if Tyson ever raped anyone.

Foreman was a good boxer in many ways. Fraizer's style was lame, we won't ever see any fighter do well with a style like his. Tyson on the other hand was a master technician, Not! some tough swarming brawler. Hell Tyson could probably come back tomorrow at his old age and clear out much of the heavyweight division. That's just how good he was.

Yes, it would be good for boxing if a contender or champion with Tyson’s style/attributes came along.

gay ass thread . . . what the HW division needs are boxers who can box besides the Bros. Elite fighters with different styles would make the division a whole lot better. Unfortunately, the whole lot are one dimensional and limited. It also needs some f'n personalities . . . for godsake when Haye is the most entertaining guy out the ring there is a problem. I would absolutely love Vitali if he impersonated Drago . . . how f'n cool would it be after he knocked out one of the bums in the division and said after "if he dies he dies". Everybody would be talking about that **** . . . hell Big bro would be the highest paid athlete on the planet. My point is . . . give them something, anything to talk about!
