Does Hopkins have a plan against Calzaghe?

    Where do you feel the Calzaghe fight maximizes its potential and how are you going to deal with his sheer output?

    "So was Winky Wright, we neutralized that. When you're dealing with a guy who throws punches he's leaving himself open to get punched as well. You have to remember, any puncher that throws more punches means that he leaves himself open even more, so to me that's great. He's active and he's not defensive like Winky Wright. If I can have good punch stats with Winky Wright who is much defensive, you have to understand that throwing punches doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to win or lose the fight.

That's where he's going to have to understand if he's going to do something out of character and that's protect his face, body, shoulders, arms and chin. You can't punch and block at the same time and he's going to have make that choice if, and that's IF he's brave enough to sign.

    Hopkins knows exactly what he's talking about and what he's doing. I hope this fight happens so i can see Hopkins add another name to his legacy.

    Hopkins not only doesnt have a plan , he wouldn't have a hope in hell.

    This is all pointless, Hopkins is the American Sven Ottke he wont take anything to do with Calzaghe , unless he gets 90-10 split on the purse , has the fight in his front room , has his trainer reffing the fight and the GBP boys as the judges , and even then MAYBE !

    Hopkins' plan is to get Joe in the ring, counterpunch, and use his infighting skills. That will be more than enough to tame Joe.
