This guy is probably among the top contenders in the history of the sport, along with tough guys like Vitali Klitschko, McCall, Golovkin, Mariusz Wach, Jake LaMotta, Chuvalo, and others. These are guys you shouldn't try to surprise hit, even with a baseball bat, because you might just get a look and start hitting back.

Joyce also made that impression at one point, but seeing the difference between him and Hrgovic in their reactions to Zhang's strikes, he's probably a bit lower than the best.

No, Hrgovic was terrified of Itauma's power in round 1 and 2 and until Itauma gassed. He has good chin but not tested enough to be ATG yet. Still his best asset, pretty mediocre boxer, defense, power, and all except chin.

 

McCall's chin is legendary. While there's no real way to say whether one is better than the other, we could make the claim that Hrgovic is on the same general tier.
