Does Hurd remind anyone of the Tijuana Tornado himself aka Antonio Margarito...

Thats exactly how a Prime Margo used to fight

Kind of slow, good power but not 1 punch power, big intimidating size wise and relentless pressure, good chin+ don't stop coming... It almost breaks other fighters mentally, towards the end of the bout Lara looked like he didn't want to be there...

I like that the kid has not only heart but is down to fight anyone

Lara was a legit boogie man that many didn't want to fight cause of his style, its hard to look good against

Hurd is exactly the same as Chavez Jr when he was a MW.

    Hurd's punches aren't as slow.

Not sure if your trying to bag on or compliment him?

Jr at one point was a top 5 160, a solid boxer

Not the joke+laughing stock he is now

He'll just get exposed at top level like Jr was.

Very similar though Hurd has some interesting wrinkles with his defensive stance and posture plus I find him more athletic.

i agree, I see a margarito in him, relentless, good chin. He'll be very hard to stop. it takes a boxer-puncher to do the job. We'll see if Charlo can do it.

I wouldn't want to compare anyone to Hands of Plaster.
