Kenny Ellis, co-trainer of Gervonta Davis believes that Tank would destroy Inoue. Does Inoue have a chance vs Tank?

At what weight? Lightweight? Yes he absolutely has a chance.....it's not like Gervonta has a massive height/reach advantage, he'll be on he back foot like he was against Cruz but Inoue has far far far far .... far greater ring IQ than someone like Cruz & I think he probably just about hits hard enough to catch the little buggers attention.

He wouldn't even be able to hurt Tank. Tank dispatches him inside 3

This whole scenario was raised by salty Inoue haters who are mad Inoue destroyed Fulton. They need to find someone several weight classes higher to make themselves feel better. Why not ask Tank to fight Canelo Alvarez next as well.

    At 130 I think it's 50/50. 135, Tank all day.

People are underestimating Inoue's ring smarts, and over estimating Tanks power at 130.

Again, 135 is a bridge too far for tha Monster.

The question should be will Gervonta ever fight the top fighters in the divisions he competes?

    Doesn't seem like it..

Better boxer, better puncher p4p...but much itty-bittier. It's interesting.

    1. Yes, Inoue can win by decision!!
    2. Yes, Inoue can outbox Tank!!
    3. No, Tank destroys Inoue!!
 Aren't the first and second options essentially the same? Did you mean to make one "Yes, Inoue can stop Tank!"?

I hate these threads. They have weight classes for a reason. Can you do Tank Beterbiev next? Inoue is better in every aspect of the sweet science but is too small giving up too much size. Tank would never agree to a dehydration clause (at least not for himself) and can’t make 130, let alone 122 so it’s not worth discussing.

Remember when Canelo’s fans were fantasizing about Ginger ballz challenging for a belt at Cruiser? Remember the same clowns complaining about size when Bivol beat his ass? This is what makes Usyk’s and Loma’s success so impressive. They are consistently giving up a lot of size to their opponents, especially Usyk. Most fighters have to boil down to make weight. When they lose, their fans ***** about them being drained. Loma and Usyk have to gain weight to compete and they face much heavier bigger opponents. When Tank fought Garcia, a relative novice, he insisted on a dehydration clause. His fans conveniently forget this fact. Weight matters and smart fighters like Floyd always had dehydration clauses when fighting bigger guys. That why Winky never fought Floyd. He refused to fight him drained.

Inoue is better P4P, but we really don't know how Inoue would do at the higher weight, if the extra weight would slow him down or if his power would travel that high up. Right now you'd have to favour Davis, simply due to the weight advantage, it would be a jump up of 3 weight classes which is unprecedented, not even Pacquiao jumped up 3 classes in a single fight.

But maybe if we give Inoue 2-3 years to fill out and move through the divisions, if he picks up titles at 126 and 130, then you'd have to give him a chance. But right now it's just too big a jump to even contemplate it being possible.

Exactly. This fight was only partly mentioned by Inoue’s team before, but never raised seriously. It’s only now that Fulton lost that Inoue haters started making YouTube videos talking about this made up super fight. They trying to create artificial hype for a mismatch, in the hopes it actually happens so that their boy Tank can try to avenge the Fulton loss. It’s pretty pathetic honestly.

Inoue would not even beat current Loma at 130. Must we all remember what happened to p4p skilled Rigondeaux when he moved up???

Maybe at 130, he has a chance, as Inoue is better and Tank will be drained

But I doubt tank will take that. At 135? Tank murders him, way too powerful. Inoue would need time to grow into the weight

Anyway, why are we talking about this fight? Sure beating a drained fighter doesn't count according to this forum

Way, way smaller. No chance, really. Inoue can definitely be hit.
