Inoue has been destroying top ten opponents and title holders, he’s looked nearly effortless in destroying many of his opponents. With plans to become undisputed at BW and then fight unified champs at SBW, do you believe he could be considered the GOAT by the end of his career?

He has to best these guys:
    Eder Jofre (1957-76) *Record: 72-2-4, 50 KO*
    Carlos Zarate (1970-88) *Record: 66-4, 63 KO
    Terry McGovern (1897-1908)*Record: 60-4-4, 42 KO, 10 no decisions

Based on the activity, or lack thereof, of modern boxers, he's never going to win as many fights
as any of the above, or even get close.

So I think he can break the top ten bantamweight list, but the GOAT? Probably not.

Would becoming undisputed at 118, 122, and 126 make him GOAT in your opinion?

What's the point of padding your record by beating absolute bums? Inoue could just as well be 100-0 if he fought the bums these guys fought.

What's the sense in fighting 1 or 2 times a year, and having just 30 fights for your entire career? (I'm excluding the COVID year).

Inoue has fought exactly ONE great fighter...Donaire. Zarate, for example fought Lupe Pintor, Wilfredo Gomez, Aldfonso Zamora, Alberto Davila among others and yes, a lot of low level guys. Eder Jofre fought many good to great boxers.McGovern beat Joe Gans FFS!

I love Inoue, I've stated he's top 5 ATG bantamweight; too bad if that's not enough credit for you.

Are we talking the GOAT at bantamweight, or the GOAT, period?

Maybe if he beats the winner of Donaire-Casimero, Rigondeaux, and the winner of Figueroa-Fulton at 122, he'd be the GOAT.

If he will have long term reign with very notable opponents at 118 and 122 it might be enough.

Weight classes should be taken in consideration, otherwise very large bunch with former and current stars had no chance vs HW dudes and CW dudes etc.
For example : might prime Floyd Jr beat current top 5 CW boxer ? Don't be delusional and still he is more skilled than CW Durodola, while I'm not sure that he might beat 40 y.o 200+ lbs in the ring this Durodola.
    etc and etc.
Might Loma or Rigo prime versions had beat pre only natural juice Holy or current CW, not alone HW boxers?
    Ofc no.

Rigo might be marquee fight, he now is old but his am credentials are at world class superstar level, not worse than Loma's am credentials, rarity in pro boxing.

The next time you hear an Inoue detractor or hater say he has overzealous fans who overrate him and make crazy claims like he would beat *insert the name of a legendary great fighter (s)* you make sure you show them this post because I am saying he's better than

    SRR
    Greb
    Armstrong
    Duran
    Pep
    Leonard Benny
    Louis
    Ali

Wouldnt surprise me if Inoue finished a fight with a 28 year old Donaire on his back.

He hasnt even surpassed Donaire yet.

McGovern, Jofre and Zarate's résumés wipe their assess with Inoue's. It's the height of ignorance to claim otherwise, and frankly, it's embarrassing.

That's not even mentioning the actual GOAT at BW, who was 61-0 with 57 KOs. He has three wins better than Inoue himself, and about 15 better than Inoue's best wins. Hell, even while well past his best and a complete party animal, Olivares was still well ahead of Arguello after 12.

Which well known boxer in all of boxing history did not have a few "bums" on their resume?

Who the hell has he beat to take that crown? He isn`t doing anything in the ring that hasn`t been done by other fighters, Robinson had far better fundamentals, even Loma does.
