We have enough British based fighters for a Saudi Heavyweight Prizefighter or WBSS type tournament to be made with Joyce, Dubois, Bakole, Joshua, Wardley, Whyte, Chisora, Clarke. Hughie Fury can be first reserve on the bench beside Gorman. Fighting men should have no problem getting in with each other with the Saudi loot on offer. Would answer a few questions about many of the fighters above.
How did Joyce win the fight easily when he was down on the cards? It seems anyone can be a boxing trainer with that sort of insight.
You must be joking. Joyce was landing with that jab from round 1 with DDD have the odd success. Joyce was winning the fight by a mile before the trainer pulled DDD out.
You lose credibility every week and especially after Joshua pounding Wallin. Can never admit when you're wrong. **** knows what you're talking about with the trainer pulling him out. Dubois pulled himself out and you had him up lol.
No, I think the timing for Dubois is wrong... I think we need to Joyce out again to see what he really has lef. As stylistically I think Zhang was all wrong for Joyce... a sharpshooting fast and powerful southpaw that starts quick against Joyce who starts slow. If Joyce looks terrible in his next fight however still wins, then I'd go for that fight for Dubois. Dubois in the mean time is now coming off a career best win, he's found his confidence again, for now as far as he's concerned I think he needs to continue building momentum.
Didn’t the judges have Dubois up on the cards at the time of the stoppage? I don’t think it was the one sided beatdown people remember. Not saying Queensbury’s brown envelopes wasn’t at work but a green Dubois equipped himself well and has learnt a lot since. Him and Bakole is 50/50 in my eyes.
I would like to see this, think it would tell us a lot about where each fighter is, how much Joyce has left, how much improvement Dubois has made etc. If I were advising DDD however I'd tell him to stay well away. Don't expect it to happen, Frank has too much at stake...
