Does it make you wonder? Ward/Bute/Froch/Dirrell brothers

I have read that A Ward is on the verge of vacating his WBC SMW title.
If Ward does this then Anthony Dirrell who is the #1 contender would be contesting the vacant title possibly against someone, possibly former champ Froch.

Now we have all read recently that Froch and Bute are close to fighting for Butes IBF title.

We also know that Ward doesnt want to fight Bute.

If Bute had of travelled to fight Froch and won clearly or KOd Froch, it would have possibly outshone Ward a bit, who only won on 2 cards by 2 points against Froch.

    Questions

    1. Do you think its possible Ward is looking to give up his WBC title so that Froch will change direction and look to challenge for his old title, thus leaving Bute without a top opponent, so it could be said Bute isnt fighting anyone, where it could then be pushed for Bute to fight Andre Dirrell and for Ward not to fight Bute?

    2. Do you think Ward is thinking of giving up this title due to being friends with the Dirrells? If so who would Ward be looking to fight? He would still have his WBA Super title, where there is WBA regular champ Balzsay and WBA int champ Magee.

I wouldnt be surprised now if Froch/Anthony Dirrell happens, Ward fights a tune up opponent then rematches Kessler and Bute is left on the outside without a top challenger. Andre Dirrell isnt a top challenger as he hasnt done much at SMW, but is probably the next best option for Bute, but I wonder if Bute gets a chance.

    What do you think?

1 & 2 are not excluding each other. He killed 2 birds with one stone.

Fair enough, but what do you think overall? Do you think its tactical with Ward avoiding Bute or because Ward is close with the Dirrells.
Which one do you think is most likely?

Yep, surely looks like both options 1 and 2 are in effect here.

And there's also a lesser option 3... less sactioning money with the WBC belt trashcanned.

I think the second scenario is more probable as I find it hard to believe that Ward is fully aware of the negociations between Bute and Froch. His move might not change anything at all and he knows that.
Unless... scenario no 1 could also be true if Froch and Ward had some kind of discussions where Froch complained that Bute's team is too insistent and Froch has no desire for that fight now. But I'm not an adept of conspiracy theories.
I don't know why people find it less probable that Ward decided to fight Magee. IMO that's not a bad fight for Ward now that he decided not to fight Bute.
One thing is clear: this decision is a result of a long thinking process :).

I think War's decision will become more transparent next month. I am sure there are things we don't know about yet.

If Bute fights Froch in England then I think we'll get Bute-Ward right after.

I would watch it also, but Magee seems to lose the big ones and I dont think that will change now.
Magee has a better SMW resume than numbers 5-10 of the Rings SMW top 10 to be fair

If this sport has showed something in the past months is that upsets are not that much of upsets in the first place.
I agree with Magee's resume. But, we had this discussion before: I am rating fighters h2h if there are talks of an eventual clash. I speak and compare resumees only if the boxer is not active.
Why do otherwise if the "X has a better resume than Y, therefore beats Y" is a false statement?

 Ward ducked the Dirrell brothers.

I dont think Anthony is as good as many believe, just look at who he has fought.
He swings wide with his punches.
Still I have felt Froch was past his best a while back and think Froch is there for the taking, so it could be interesting
