for the past few years it seems, Keith Thurman hasn't been very active. he literally is Keith "One Time" Thurman. cuz he only fights one time a year. it's frustrating. I'd like to see Keith fight more often, at least 2 times a year.

even his fight with Danny Garcia, he didn't take much punishment in that fight and yet he took the rest of year off due to "injury".
for a guy who's supposedly injured, he sure did a lot of travelling, went around the world, went up the Himalayas, went on elephant rides, parachuting in Nepal, etc.

I mean if he could do that, I think he can get in the ring.

just watch...i know what's gonna happen next year. he's gonna finally come back and probably fight Lamont Peterson, beat him and then take time off again and fight winner of Porter/Garcia in 2019. (even if that fight gets made)

He's kind of like the guy in our avatars.:D He and Saunders could both be dominant P4P fighters if they'd get off their asses and fight a little more often.

He has meaningful fights every time so it doesn't bother me.
The man just got married and is currently traveling the world. Let me him enjoy his money. Hes gonna come back with yet another meaningful fight. Im sure.

he'll do anything to avoid fighting errol spence, including faking an injury, getting married and traveling to the furthest corner of the globe to get away from him.

Yes I get One Time withdrawal symptoms. I'm getting bad Artur B withdrawal symptoms too. And Loma should've been fighting at least 3 times a year.

2-3 times a year should be the norm for any top 10-20 fighter

I've never really been that interested in watching his fights. Great talent but I have poor concentration and if something doesn't grab my attention my mind starts to wander or I start doing something else.

Yeah. He should've taken care of the Peterson mandatory already.

I am a fan of thurman, so obviously I would like to see him more often.
But dude just got married, so it's reasonable to have the rest of the year off. Plus the last 2 times he get in the ring are for tough competitors in Porter and Garcia.
Hopefully we'll get to see him 2-3 times next year.

Champions should only be required to fight two times a year. One for the title with the challenger being the number one contender and the other voluntary. However the voluntary should be a fighter in the top ten and the title should not be on the line. If the champ loses then that fighter becomes his mandatory for the title with no exceptions. If they choose to fight more than that and they lose then it should be treated the same as their voluntary. A lot of people feel that whenever a champion fights, his title should be on the line. I can understand that but I just see it differently.

Keith is a dodgy ass dude. He wasn't (mentally) prepared to take on Shizz Potter, so he lied and made up some automobile accident involving his Mustang (which we know that he really drives a second generation, pre-owned Toyota Prius). Now Keith is feeling that Spence pressure.
