Does it **** you off that Keith Thurman only fights "One Time" a year?

Dude is injured I am sure he is more frustrated then any of us as I am sure he is aware there are some more big paydays out there for him. He had elbow surgery which means he can't box until he recovers, doesn't mean he is incapacitated he is allowed to travel and enjoy life.

 

He surely live up to his nickname don't you think ha3x

 

He won 2 big fights in a row and if hes injured hes injured. I'd prefer fighters to be smart and fight big fights when they are healthy and we get our moneys worth rather than seeing a shittily prepared guy go out with an injury or a bad camp. Remember Martinez vs Cotto

If he fights a big name next I wont be too upset with the wait. I mean Spence has recently won a title, Horn recently won a title. You have Pacquiao still around and Porter won a fight vs Berto.

Some developments have occurred in his absence and now has created situations were fights are now bigger

 

He had an injury from a car accident and now hes recovering from an elbow injury/surgery. He fought twice every year up to `15. Had the accident and fought once in `16 and then in `17 he fought Garcia and then had elbow surgery. He should be good to go by early 18. It sucks but its not like hes just sitting around.

Most fighters do not fight often enough, but SOB Ward will probably not fight for 2 or 3 years after cheating Kovalev. Kovalev fought often, that's what make me so angry about SOB, he does not bother to fight, he will just sit on the titles he cheated for, could be for years. And he is going to fight Joshua?! Why didn't he sign the contract? SOB said he would knock both Klitschkos out as well, but he never came near signing a contract. Against Kovalev SOB had to cheat, it's right there on the video................proof...................as well as the still pictures.........................the decision speaks for itself, even Mayweather said SOB lost..................facts are facts, but we live in the world of the Nazis like Trump, who do not believe in facts, they lie and cheat...............

It would be nice to see him give up his belts to Spence sooner, and move back down to contender status, but he just had surgery and got married so I can understand. In the meantime Spence should scare the hell out of him by knocking out Garcia or Porter.

 

well last year i think he was on hold very garcia fight. so he didnt fight anyone till get got the good payday vs danny. then he had injury so , and the year before that some times it just happens. lets hope he recovers from injury and get back to business.

do u think keith will come back wit a warm up. maybe eggington, joesito lopez. or is he gunna jump right in with lamont peterson who imo is a threat . especially coming of an injury and being inactive. so thurman isnt gonna be super sharp. its a risky fight.

I wasn't keen on Thurman at first but he's shown his skill and heart in difficult fights with Collazo, Porter and Garcia. I'd like to see him more yes but same goes for lots of fighters.

Thurman-Spence is the fight I want to see.

Sure. I really like Thurman. And with everyone gunning for him the second he is back, I don't think the ring rust is going to be very good for him.

 

Keith fought Porter on 6/16 he was sharp. He later fought danny in march this year. He was sharp af in both outings. Keith does this. His team comes correct every time.
