Yeah Loew is out of his mind. Pavlik would make Dawson look like a Super Duper Star! BTW, where is Boo's Pavlik thread from yesterday???
Dawson? seriously? even I have to raise my eyebrows and I am a big Pav fan? Dawson? sounds like a cash grab. why not see if he can be a force at 68 by first testing the waters and then going for progressively harder fights....unless they feel its all over and just get one last money grab and go for the lottery Dawson is a helluva fight for anyone, let alone a guy that got handled by a career 54 guy in his mid thirties
What the **** is this crap i heard about Pavlik staying at MW after all? I read about it on the scene the other day. All this talk about him struggling to make MW and now all of a sudden they think he should stay there? Given..maybe a proper sports nutritionist and a better trainer than that dildo licker Jack Loew and maybe. But all that hooplah about not being able to make MW and he wants to stick around.
maybe pavlik is out to get as much money as he can too... lets face it...these guys are fighting(proverbially) to stay relevant
Jack don't know that he is holding pavlik back... even shane and floyd realized at some point...they have been built..and then reached the plateau..
Jack likes to talk. He has zero control over who Kelly fights. Prior to early summer 2009 Arum had most of the control. Kelly's contract with Top Rank was due to expire back when Arum tried to shove Sergio Mora down KP's throat. When they negotiated his current contract KP got control. Who he fights is up to him. Rumours of staying at 160 emerged recently. The article stated they would only try that if a world class conditioning coach says it's safe. The article did not name the source, and contained some innaccurate statements. This may be nothing more than an unfounded rumour. At 160 look for Pavlik/Martinez II. If KP moves to 168, Pavlik/Andrade is likely. If he moves all the way to LHW, he should fight one tune-up, and then paint a target on Cloud. Pavlik/Andrade is probably the most likely fight.
