does james toney win?

I cant see Couture taking a shot from a serious puncher like Toney. Toney could KO him with 16 oz gloves, let alone 4oz.
But we know Couture knows this too, and it will take James to counter Coutures attempts at a takedown for him to win.

Im hoping JT places a well timed uppercut when RC lunges at his legs. I hope JT doesnt just walk around in circles getting leg kicked until RC lands a roundhouse. OUCH!

I still take JT. I see his intelligence winning this. He'll definately be working a strong jab, and hook in stand up, and I believe he'll find that counter uppercut.

 

couture paws the jab....jab....jab.... then goes to tackle the legs...toney tries to ding him with an uppercut but just grazes him.... toney gets frantic and starts punching him on the ground till his ankle gets grabbed and he taps out.. couture holds on a little too long..and there is a big hub bub about it.. toney still wants to fight even though he is tapped out...

Toney will beat couture with ease. And he may get his shot with lesnar soon. Lesnar is going to lose his next fight to Velasquez. Lesnar is not that good. The ufc has been very carefull how they match him. He's there money man you can't blame them. But james toney would ko him in 15 seconds. Lesnar has a glass chin and paper skin. Lesnar cannot handle the impact of a punch from a pro boxer without gloves. Lesnar would try to charge him and he would get caught by a punch on the way in and be koed. Remember what happend to kimbo slice? It will be similar to that. Lesnar is a hype job just like Kimbo. You can take all the roids you want but it's not going to fix a weak chin and paper skin. Carwin was a hype job to. He must not have jogged a lap in his whole life. Damn he thru 20 punches and he looked like he was going to have a heartattack. Carwin was not in shape and I think the fight was fixed. Carwin is trash and was payed to lose.

Kimbo Slice choked out a much heavier hitter than Toney, not that Kimbo has anything to do with Couture.

 

Why? James isn't fighting for Boxing.

Win or lose, This fight won't kill or save boxing and James Toney isn't the face of boxing. He isn't the pulse, and he's hardly relevant. Why the **** do people think this is going to affect the legitimacy of either kind of fighter?
