Wow, that didn't take long for your real reasons for disliking the man and the sport to come out.

Basically you think he is a bad fighter because he is of an inferior race?

it is depends how good Toneys take down defence is. If he has been taking it seriously then he can win. He def has the power to KO Randy who is suspect.

 

It will be like every other example of a pure boxer vs. a grappler that I have seen. The boxer will be embarrassed.

 

I have a feeling Toney ko's him. Of course Couture should win this for every reason possible but just a feeling.

 

your feeling is that toney is strong enough to avoid a takedown.. and counter off of it

and if couture tries to set up his take down with a punch, he will get countered. i really dont think its that easy to take toney down without getting hit

Simply put.....Yes...No...its a fight...anything can happen and usually does!

On to the facts.....Toney's Pros & Cons:
Toney is a GREAT tactician with a solid chin
He is a high caliber striker with KO power
He has little ground game and carries alot of weight to have to get up off the canvas
He has little takedown defense or offense

Couture's Pros & Cons:
Randy is an EXCELLENT wrestler w/ great takedowns
He is a cardio freak with lots of ground exp
He doesn't fair well against strikers despite his amateur boxing career
He rarely uses kicks which would no doubt be an advantage in this fight

The UNKNOWNS:
Toney has usually had an in your face style but has never had to worry abt the clinch, knees or takedowns.
You can never count Couture out of a fight...very suprising guy.
Just how dedicated Toney is about the fight.

Either way I can't wait to see the fight! I love watching both of them fight!
