I'd like to see him in a main event against a top 6-7 opponent, then to a title shot. But yeah, he's as ready as he'll ever be.
He's good enough for a shot, which is why he won't get one till maybe fall of 2023. Unless one of the champs is stripped of a belt.
He's already had 30 fights. That's a lot of fights. I think a title shot is 1 fight away. He takes on a top 10 fighter and let Spence & Crawford sort their drama out and he can be next in line.
He already has a former champion under his belt, Lipinets was still a top 10 WW when he beat him, then he blew out the person that arguably could have a win over Lipinets. He has top 15ish guys under him. He absolutely does. Who else does he fight? He said he'd fight Thurman, who they leapfrogged back over him for a mandatory spot or Stanonis (however it's spelled), he'd fight Ortiz and Ortiz's own people said that's a future fight not a current one, Ugas is damaged, Danny is gone. Why not give him a title fight next? He's definitely shown enough.
