I slated him for a while for the same reasons Sergio had mentioned but now, there's no question JCC Jr is a top 10 MW, and deserves respect for his never giving up and almost pulling off the upset of the year.

    Respect.

No. He showed heart but he fought a 37 yr old mw when he's a cruiserweight

Noone else had Sergio in that much trouble in the last round. It was the proverbial Irresistable Force vs Immovable Object and the Object almost won.

I've predicted all along that he would show tremendous heart tonight, but let's not get carried away.Benny Ricardo's commentry was deceiving.Jnr was thoroughly outclassed tonight.Martinez was tired at the end because he'd given a masterclass.

vCash looking very healthy Uncle Roger.:good

If j.r. is clean, for sure. My question is how long can he make weight? j.r. looked like a light heavy.

Got his stupid ass skooled, came back, scored a (IMO accidental headbutt initiated) knockdown, went for the kill.

Yes he gets my respect because he could've just quit, but the didn't. Limited but passionate fighter, good mix for exciting fights.

I have worse opinion of him now than before the fight. He's the new
Randall Tex Cobb. He was clearly a cruiserweight fighting a middleweight.
Sergio gets even more respect than I already had for him from manning up
in the 12th and going toe to toe even after the knockdown.

Martinez didn't weight him self either ******, Martinez showed respect to JR and he hates him more then anyone else, haters get in line and witness a so called bum almost TKO martinez and hurt him like no other man has ever hurt this P4P fighter at his absolute best.

Martinez a warrior surviving that last round not hugging like some American Frauds would

Yes. Lesser men would have mentally given up, and I though Chavez was just about at that point, so his efforts in the 12th earned my respect.

BUT....Sergio took unnecessary risks throughout (which is how he fights). Whenever he wasn't standing flatfooted in close quarters, he dominated the action with ease.

But the heart alone gains my respect, but tactically he needs a complete overhaul.

He's got heart and chin no one can doubt that,he talked alot of ****, did a silly little dance and has ended up looking like the toxic avenger so I also feel a tad sorry for the kid, there were a couple of times I thought he was actually not going to come back out.
