Does Jean Pascal really stand a chance against Chad Dawson?

Dawson would beat the breaks off of Diaconu. They had a fight all scheduled and ready to go and Diaconu pulled out like a week or two before the fight. Pascal is in for a beating, plain and simple.

 

Wow, I didn't know that there were still idiots around here who were claiming that Dawson is afraid of Diaconu. I thought that this meme stopped after that guy Thunder disappeared.

 

Dawson has not been in with an opponent with the kind of speed Pascal has. I think Chad will win but he will have problems with Pascal.

 

The problem is you can reverse that and also say Pascal has never been in with an opponent with the kind of speed Dawson has.

 

Those 40 year olds had a lot to teach him in those fights though.

 

Diaconu had an injury at his right hand from sparing. Damaged tissue ...bruised. He's right wrist was in bad condition.That's why he pulled out.Any boxer dreams for a title fight if he could fought he would've fought.

 

Say what you want, Dawson vacated his title so he could avoid meeting Diaconu in a mandatory defence:rofl

Pascal is a very good fighter in his prime, if he makes it a dog fight he'll be able to do it, if not, Dawson beats him handily.

Jean Pascal is a lil' underrated on here, a tough guy for sure.

Depends what Pascal shows up,a new and improved one or the same one with poor defense .I personally see Dawson winning by brutal KO due to Jean's poor defense .

 

Diaconu is a joke who thought he beat Jean Pascal both times, when he clearly got outhustled.

 

If the shoulder injury doesn't effect Pascal, then he will have a very good chance of beating Dawson

No. He doesn't even have the kind of power required to crack Dawson's average chin. Dawson by wide decision or by stoppage if Pascal injures his shoulder during the fight.

 

Well its not exactly what I'd call a mismatch.... but if Pascal wins it'd be a pretty big upset. Chad is gonna have to have a bad off night for Pascal to have any hope.

Assuming both fight at thier bests.... Dawson will win a sizable decsion, or maybe even stop Pascal. He's the better, faster, more polished, more talented techncian of the two, and he's bigger.
