    ive always saw Louis listed as 6 1..Holmes was taller than Ali and Ali's meant to be 6 3 ??? But its hard to trust what tale of the tape is correct.

    Due to styles, i think heavyweight Spinks gives Louis (and Ali) trouble. He may not win, but I think he'd give a good account of himself before the end came. But I think Louis stops him by KO and Ali either stops him on his feet late or wins a UD.

    I wouldnt want a Parkinson striken Ali anywhere near a ring with a prime Louis.

    At least not until his illness. Patterson was reportedly 110 pounds at the time of his death.

    Yeah Louis was thrown into the deep end pretty quickly. It was sink or swim. But thats how it was then. You fought more and generally couldnt cherry pick in order to maintain that "0". Cherry picking was usually a luxury for experienced champions.

    Patterson was bedridden for months before he died. Combination of dementia and cancer.

    Patterson seemed like such a nice man. He was the polar opposite of the other famous Floyd in terms of personality.
