    As you all know, Mexico produces great champions. But would you rank him in the top 10 of Mexican boxers?

    I think hes one of the best Mexican base lightweights and in the top 20 best ever mexican fighters, but hes definitely top 10 on my favs.

    Definitely a real good fighter in his best days, but calling him a top 10 Mexican fighter ever? Nope.

    Castillo seems to be mounting a comeback, and if by some outside chance he wins another World title, can successfully defends it against a few quality opponents, then maybe perhaps we can talk about it!

    Well he's my fav Mexican fighter so I have an obligation to be as biased but realistic as possible so yes I think he is. If not then definetly on the top 10 Mexican-born lightweights list.

    I picked "yes", although if I really were to write a list of Mexican fighters, at best he would be at #10. There are so many great Mexican fighters they all clump up close to one another in any ranking.

    Too rich of a history for Mexican boxing for Castillo to crack the top 10 with in my book.

    Definitely no knock on him.
