Joshua very talented got the lot ? One thing reminds me in build up to Bruno in the early days knocked out every one quickly that meant he didn't get many rounds in when he was young that was fine until he met bone crusher smith (jumbo Cummings) then he was in trouble I hope Joshua doesn't go the same way.
At this point it's hard to say, nobody has really tested Joshua at all. We haven't seen his chin tested, or his stamina tested or if he can fight on the back foot. So far he's just walked through everyone which bodes well for the future but who can say for sure. We will need to see him tested to know his limits.
There are levels in between 'complete failure (in relation to expectation)' and 'one of the greatest heavyweights of all time'.
Considering Bruno would have demolished AJ's opposition in similarly devastating fashion, you may well be right. Frank would have been a real handful for Wlad in the early going and may have even got him out of there if the opportunity presented itself. But if the fight goes beyond 8 then we know what happens...
Yeah, Bruno was world class in the early/mid rounds but his lack of killer instinct, stamina and survival ability really hurt him. I remember him outboxing Lewis and having him on ***** street multiple times but he never capitalized. Then he got clipped by a Hail Mairy left hook and it was good night Irene.
He wont be getting quality sparring in the UK so his learning etc will stagnate. He needs to go to America etc for that to happen but he is not allowed to enter due to his criminal record. Dillian Whyte on the other hand is doing the right thing; he is with the Klitschko camp and learning how things are done the RIGHT way. Joshua is more talented but so what? Talent alone does not get you where you deserve.
Bruno was protected throughout his career because when he stepped up he generally got found out. Even the McCall fight would have been a definite stoppage loss in a 15 rounder. We'll be talking about the Villain end of next month, not Femi. I suspect glass.
Nevertheless, he has a good career and was a genuine top 10 (maybe even top 5) heavyweight for years. If Joshua has the same type of career, he would do ok
Lewis. I have high hopes for AJ. He seems to bring it all: Speed, defense, punch and appears very level headed and disciplined in interviews. Not sure about the chin, but we all know Lewis' also didn't have a world-class chin and still did pretty well for himself.
Joshua is definitely more in the mould of Lewis than Price, but it's far too early to say whether he'll ever scale the heights Lewis did. Fairly confident in predicting he'll be lineal HW champ one day though.
