Does Juan Manuel Lopez Deserve to be Top 15 P4p today?

my take on this is that his skill level is not far behind izzy and marquez. i won't be surprise if lopez would be the betting favorite if they fight this year. even caballero is getting attention in the list. if celestino and lopez fight. i'll take lopez via KO...

If he beats Gerry Penalosa then yes. Right now i would have to say no. He has only beat Ponce Deleon and Sergio Medina. He needs to beat another good contender. Penalosa is old but still good so if he beats him then i would say yea he deserves it.

If he can really beat Penalosa convincingly, then yes.

Not really. He fought 3 rounds in the whole year and honestly, the only time the opponent was thought to have any kind of a chance was Ponce de León and he got easily dismantled. He needs to show in one fight against a great opponent that he can dominate a 12 rounder or that he can get the KO late in a fight, say from the 9th round on. If he does that, top 10 p4p for me. To me this kid is the real deal and the only real question surrounding him is his stamina. Will he have the stamina and the pose to defeat a fighter who can take his best shot? To me that is the only question regarding Juanma Lopez.

p4p is based on how you are perceived as a fighter. it includes accomplishment and ability..im confident that he would put a better fight to vasquez than caballero

vic should definitely be higher than de leon. by all means. after defeating de leon, who was an average fighter with great power, de leon has beaten no one of quality. vic on the other hand just defeated three of the top 8 names in his weight class
