are you saying that gerry boxed so badly that he made the one dimensional, plodding PDL the boxer in the fight?:huh
everybody seems to outwork gerry...gerry is a small guy but when he punches it's right on target..sadly it is overshadowed by his lack of voluminous punches
obviously, doesn't everyone? thats why Joe "The Wrecking Machine" Calzaghe was a top 3 P4P fighter b4 he retired....
Actually, I disagree, people make their P4P based on accomplishment too much, that why so many « so called upset » happens every week/month.
1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Juan Manuel Marquez 3. Bernard Hopkins 4. Shane Mosley 5. Israel Vazquez 6. Miguel Cotto 7. Paul Williams 8. Ivan Calderon 9. Rafael Marquez 10. Ricky Hatton 11. Vic Darchinyan 12. Chad Dawson 13. Juan Manuel Lopez 14. Nonito Donaire 15. Kelly Pavlik 16. Celestino Caballero 17. Vitalai Klitschko 18. Wladimir Klitschko 19. Jermain Taylor 20. Mikkel Kessler
The kid has massive talent to be a top p4p fighter but right now he has not accomplish enough to merit a top 15 p4p.
p4p must not be 100% resume...i guess it's fair to factor in certain percentage to skill and talent as well as the fighter he could beat...that's why i do not understand why some do not put victor ortiz outside the top 10 of 140
It's not about potential or who he could beat, it's about what you've done to deserve a spot. P4P is 100% merit, H2H, resume, Accomplishments defiantly not Potential.
