What kind of logic? Porter looked so **** and yet still beat broner. How that doesn't make kell brook look better baffles me..
porter is solid. Most expected him to edge the win. Doesn't really reflect on brook. Brook needs to step up his competition again...
Why would Brook look any better because Porter beat Broner? Broner of all people... lol He's a big name yes but he's not very good is he... Regardless on how Porter looked he beat a mediocre fighter... If Porter looked like **** against Broner then Brook beating Porter isn't that great of a feat is it? What because Brook beat Porter by an SD with no knockdowns.
Nah. The two things that have made me question whether most people have ever watched a boxing contest on this site are: 1- The people who thought Porter would easily beat Brook and 2- The people who thought Broner was legit And believe it or not, there was a lot of people in both categories. :-(
Porter was just a bad style match up for Broner. Porter was sloppy as hell and what won him the fight was just his energy. He looked like a washer woman in there. I actually felt kinda bad for Broner because I knew he wasn't ready for that kind of garbage. I have no appreciation for the way Porter fights at all. I'll also say this, the only reason Brook won is because he was big enough to keep Porter's wild ass off him with his jab. Broner hardly used his jab and it cost him.
It was always a great win. I've always said it's only a Thurman win that can surpass a Porter win(exc Pac/May). It was like that before the Broner fight as well.
Of cause it looks better, Broner was floyds ***, same gym ect, Floyd thought Broner would beat Porter, he was bigging him up all the way. Floyd said b4 fight' porter is a force to be reckoned with. Well porter was! he easily owned Broner, but Porter could not own or bully Kell Brook. So Yes Brooks win over porter looks a lot more impressive.
This. Personally thought Porter looked terrible in there. Broner done the cleaner work - just not enough of it. I really dont like giving rounds for wild, reckless aggressive work. I also thought Porter looked sluggish when throwing his punches, they had no snap whatsoever.
