It´s difficult to get a big fight in the US,when you have a promoter with no brain whatsoever.. Kessler is former WBA-WBC worldchamp,now WBA champ...IF kessler was born in the US he would have some of the Big names fighting him already. One of the problems is that, nobody really want´s to fight kessler... So if kessler get away from palle,kessler should go to the states,and do what he did in europe:Maybe fighting for lesser money,just to get some opponents...smash them,until the other "champs", can´t run anymore... MIKKEL KESSLER NEEDS TO LEAVE MOGENS PALLE!!!
Why? **** happens. You fight who you fight. Obviously his promoter wasn't doing him many favors. So he never faced an elite fighter before Calzaghe...it doesn't make him any less elite for having primarily fought B-level or below. He thoroughly outclassed the B-level and below fighters as an elite ought to. You work with what you have to work with. I hate this stupid fan mentality of penalizing fighters based on who they didn't fight, as though they had total carte blanche control over it. :fire
