If this guy was fighting anybody else he would be a good opponent.

Is Kevin Johnson a hard puncher? No, I don't think he's got a punchers chance, but he can hope the older Klitchko gets a sprained finger and quits.

2009 Vitali Klitschko isn't even CLOSE to what 1989 Mike Tyson was.

And honestly, Kingpin is about on par with any non-Tokyo version of Buster. :deal

It's long been a suspicion of mine that Johnson has more power than he's let on fighting at a lower level. When he steps up, he'll unload what ammo he has. He's a big, beefcake dude..

I think it would be on the level of Tyson Duglas imo.

Look Vitali has been the biggest fish in a very small pond. Its not as if he has been beating up world class foes. Quite frankly most of his opponents have been pathetic. Either out of shape, straight up afraid, or simply at a mediocre level.

Vitali is an obvious step up for Kingpin but its also vice versa. Kingpin is a live body, I'm sure Vitali and his team has underestimated Johnson just as almost everyone else has. They see his weak opposition and poor KO record and don't do their homework. Its not Johnson's fault he can't get a fight in this division, he's fought who he could and generally dominated every opponent.

Particularly since he's not a puncher, I would say NO.:yep

Unless Vitali someone gets old overnight, I would say this fight is as sure a thing as it gets in boxing. And even if he did, I'd only give Johnson a 20 percent shot of pulling the upset.

Johnson only has one chance: VK's body breaks down like it did against Byrd and Lewis.

    Other than that, no chance.

I think Johnson is a good boxer, and despite maybe losing he'll show he deserves to be up their in the rankings.
